British passport email approved email

Dear Members,

I have had call from passport office today. I had my given name Man***** Kaur on indian passport with no surname.

Now in approval email I have Man**** xxx, I am not sure why Kaur is missing. Is this a error as it suppose to be Man**** Kaur on british passport.

Neither are we sure why, however you can contact HMPO to correct this if your supplied documents carry all the names as it should reflect.

Dear Members,

Spoke to passport office. They said passport has been sent for printout. Please see following:
First advisor: Now the name is "Man***** Kaur XXX"
Second advisor: It is "Man***** Kaur" and correct name
Third advisor: It Needs correction and sent following email:

Dear Man***** Kaur,
Thank you for your enquiry.
We are sorry to hear that there is an error on your passport.
Please send the passport back to us with:
A letter explaining the error.
Proof of the correct name/ date of birth/ place of birth, e.g., Full birth certificate, marriage certificate, Naturalisation certificate, etc.
A new completed paper application form and two new photographs (counter-signatory not required). Application forms can be obtained at no extra fee from the Post Office.
Please send the required documents and erroneous passport to the following address:

I would wait until you receive the passport and see what it says. Did they send you supporting documents back? You can't re send them if they still have them.

No supporting documents received yet. You are right, we have to wait.

I suggest you start filing away all correspondence and write notes if you speak on the phone with them, if this keeps protracting in time you can raise a complaint and a log of all that happened may come in handy.

One advisor told me that he has raised an official observation and I took screen shot of the online chat. I am guessing that they have Man***** Kaur XXX on the main passport and under observation "Man****** Kaur" I hope this is the case and I do not need to do anything
