British Passport for Child born in UK and having ILR

Hi ALL,

Im a new member to this group and really appreciate the help and guidance provided by Immigration boards.

Let me explain my situation.

My Child born in UK and after six months we travelled to india. when we returned to UK. we applied for Tier1 dependent visa for child.

recently we got ILR . we applied for ILR depedent for my child and currently is on ILR visa.

My Questions

1. Can i apply for British passport for my child now? if YES then what is the process.

2. or My kid also have to wait for one year after ILR for British passport.

Please help me regarding this. my child got ILR in July this year.[/b]

As the child was born in the UK the child is now entitled to register as British by virtue of section 1(3) BNA on form MN1.

Thanks for your reply. but when the child born in UK we were on Tie1 visa. can still my child is eligible for british passport now?
