British passport renewal in India

Hi team

Minor/Adult with British passport and OCI can stay in India for howso muchlonger, and can renew British passport from India? Please could you advise on this understanding, and process of renewing the British passport(s) from India.

I don't have insight on the OCI process as that pertains to Indian law, not British law. You find instructions on how to apply here https://www.passport.service.gov.uk/ove ... enew/adult . It does take significantly longer to renew a British passport from abroad.

My understanding is with British passport and OCI, you can stay outside UK for how so much time. Hence renewing UK passport from India process request. I hope my understanding is correct?

You can stay out of the UK as long as you want. But you do need to renew your passport when it expires and renew your oci to stay in India. Nothing to do with being outside of the UK. As a citizen you can do as you please.
