British Passport

Dear Forum and moderators - please can you help a friend who states the following:

My grandfather passport( father of my father) was living in Palestine and was holding English passport of Palestine. By chance I met my friend who work in AlJazeera Palestine office and her grandfather had same passport and she was able to change her passport to English passport.
I have checked with the embassy here and they don't do any procedures for this. My request is I would like to use this document for me and my family to have English passports. Would you please advise the process for this?

Can anyone advise?

Quick Google suggests not.

"These (British Palestinian) passports became invalid with the termination of the British mandate on 15 May 1948."

Even if they were valid, can't see how it would help you since the only option then would be Ancestry Visa, and they are only available to Commonwealth Citizens...

But who knows...
