I have applied for British passport after receiving naturalisation certificate few days ago.
When I googled I needed 2 referees for the passport application but when I processed I was asked only one referee and it was approved through him.
1. Did I do something wrong in application ? Only one is needed for passport, two are for naturalisation.

2. I can send my and my partner docs together to passport office. Can I send a pre paid envelope for my documents to return as I havnt choose £5 service of tracked delivery. No. You need to send two separate envelopes as it may be two separate addresses and you need to write the reference number for each application. If you send any stationery to get your documents returned it will be ignored and binned.

3. When do I have to apply Indian Embassey to cancel the passport ? Is there maximum timeframe for it ? That is a question related to Indian law, not British.
