Am looking for help here, i have leaved in england with my partner for almost 4 years, we have two children, i tried to apply for unmarried visa here in uk but the refused, they said i have to go back to tanzania and apply, my partner is planning to move to ireland and work there, but before that we are going back to tanzania and to wedding, my question is will i be able to join my wife in ireland, and if my wife want to return back to england in future will i still be able to acompany her or if she decide to go for vist to england will require visa for short vist.

Yes, as the spouse of a UK national you have the right to live in Ireland with your wife for longer than three months if she is also working in Ireland.

When in Ireland, you should apply for a "Residence card of a family member of a Union citizen". Possession of this Residence Card exempts you from the requirement to obtain an entry visa for any EU Member State, if travelling there in the company of or to join your wife.

if you go to tanzania with your partner and marry her, you'll need to get an entry visa to enter ireland which will not be difficult for you to do if your wife goes to irish embassy in tanzania with you, but you must have your marriage certificate and your both passports, they will issue you with a visa to accompany your wife to ireland. If she decides to live in ireland with you, then she would be working or studying or be self sufficient in order for you to apply for your eu 1 ie 5 yrs residence card, check the directives for requirements for each way of excercising of right's, for eu citizens.

If you are legally resident in UK, there is no need to go back to Tanzania, but if you are not legally resident it is better to go to Tanzania for your marriage and put in your papers. I can assure you, you have 100% guarantee of been approved. This same situation apply to my friend who is a British citizen, but the wife is a Nigerian and they have 2 kids also, they went to Nigeria, do the marriage, apply and it was immediately approved. After your marriage, if you want to come to Ireland, it will also be approved as far as your wife is fulfilling the european citizens conditions in Ireland. But as far as the UK is concern, you need to supply evidence she is working, with pay slips etc and tenancy agreement indicating where you are going to live in UK without immediately recoursing to welfare assistance. I am sure it will be approve in Tanzania british embassy. Good luck.
