British Spouse Visa to Tier2 Visa

Hello Everyone,

I hope someone could give me an insightful specific response to my concerns.

I am on a spouse visa married to a british citizen with no child. I fear that we might be on the verge of separation. I intent to act quickly before i fall into the risk of having my visa revoked by the home office. I have stayed in the UK for just over 5 years (very limited chance of a private life). I was on Tier 4 visa before i switched to a spouse visa. I understand my current spouse visa category is not listed among those that could switch over to Tier2 general however, i'm hoping i might still be able to switch over to Tier2 without having to go home.

I currently work as a graduate structural engineer for a firm and they are willing to sponsor my Tier2 visa.


I invite any experienced person(s) with specifically related advice or anyone who is going or has gone through a similar situation to comment. Hope someone could shine the light at the end of the tunnel.
