BRP Delivered to someone else. Urgent Advice needed

I got my Tier 1 Visa extended on 1st Feb at Liverpool PEO.

On 6th Feb i got a letter at home saying that delivery of BRP failed so i rescheduled it for 10th Feb Friday at my office address.

Waited all day, no delivery so called DX guys, they told me that it was not done on friday but attempted on Saturday instead which was shocking considering it was a scheduled delivery.

Anyways scheduled again for yesterday 14th Feb, again same story no delivery whole day and in evening their website says my package has been delivered and some Rob Nash signed for it.

Checked with Reception guys in building, there was no delivery and no one by that name works in the building.

And how can a BRP be delivered to someone without my ID

looks like a complete scam to me. so logged a complaint with DX guys who look completely incompetent and utterly unprofessional and suggested that it will take 10 days for them to get back to me.

Reported this to UKBA guys too on BRP Delivery email address.

Please suggest what else can i do ? has there been such cases before as well?

I strongly suggest you escalate with facilities of your office building staff.. usually DX delivery guys are very accurate when it comes to delivery.. but I understand mistakes can happen.. by the sound of it I think someone security staff in your building must have signed for it .. ( happend to me once but not with the visa delivery though)..

Can you get a record of the delivery from DX, i.e. date and time of delivery, signature of person, etc? That might help you track it down with your mailroom. Also if you have internal mail delivery, might be worth checking the pigeon-holes on your floor. When we have mail delivered they *usually* keep it in the mailroom for us to pick up. But sometimes, randomly, they decide to leave it in a pigeon-hole on our floor instead, and don't tell us that's what they have done.

Finally DX people traced my BRP and sent to me again yesterday.

they apologized profusely for this and when i asked what happened

they said that it was courier guy's mistake, he delivered it to some other guy at some other building.

thank god its all sorted now

make sure you report the fact that the BRP has now turned up to the UKBA email address for BRPs - in case they cancel it.
