BRP lost with ILR status

Hello,

My wife lost her BRP card. She is holding ILR status. She has already applied for BRP replacement. It is been two months now and we haven't received any update on her BTP replacement application.

My Qs are:
Can she travel outside UK without BRP and re-enter as she hold ILR ?
How long it takes to get BRP replacement ?

I appreciate any help!
