On what basis are you working? Do you have no leave?

If so, that's trouble, as you're an overstayer and working illegally.
The most logical idea would be for your employer to sponsor you, you'd return to Bulgaria and apply for Skilled Worker visa from there, but they absolutely could flag your overstay. Not sure what's the best way forward (if there's any) from this situation.

There is one simple fact - you will not be granted a work visa unless you apply from your home country. So if you are considering that as an option you will have to return home first.

Given your circumstances it will be doubtful but not impossible for you to return however you may find that a one year ban for overstaying would be applied before you are able to return.

What is your personal circumstances in the UK - are you with a partner, married, do you have Children? There are other options if that is the case.

Your employer is also in danger of receiving a £20,000 fine for employing you, are they aware of your immigration status?
