Calculated Net pay instead Gross pay

Post by suresh.k.dasari » Mon Aug 24, 2009 1:17 pm

Hi all...I have applied for a renewal of my hsmp. I realised only this morning after i received a confirmation of receipt of my application frm home office that I have calculated the sum of total of net pay instead the sum of gross pay and have filled in the application. I have shown two salaries one for £12k(sum of gross) and other for £13k(sum of net). All together I have a salary of £27k in total but have shown only £24k. But, I still qualify for the points. Can anyone please suggest me whats going to happen now, do u think the homeoffice will still consider my application.

Thank You
Suresh

Send an email to the HO Dept..

wpcustomers@ind.homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk

ask them what is the process as you just sent in ur application n it takes few weeks to be looked in by caseworker..

logically..

1. using ur reference no.. u might either need to write a letter to Caseworker and send it along with newely filled application to attach it to ur original docs??

or

2. since u have enough points even with those numbers.. n if the caseworker is good n understanding.. MAY?? may use those numbers and give +ve decision..

but i prefer option 1 of trying to fix it rather than leaving it..

NOTE: please wait for replies of applicants who were in this situation and came out unscratched.. Goodluck mate, u need it..

You should correct the mistake by writing letter to HO. But I personally think, since you still qualify and earn sufficient points, you should be fine.
