Calender months

Post by stha » Tue Jan 26, 2010 11:12 am

Hi All,

I'm currently in UK Under HSAMP and planning to apply for extension next month un Tier 1 General. I have two silly questions with regards to this:

1) I'm not sure of how the 12 months earning period is calculated from the middle of the month, for example if cailmed my previous earnings between 20/02/2009 and 19/02/2010 does this make sense, this include 13 months or do i have to count just 12 months from 01 March 09 to 27 Feb 10.?

2) Another silly questions with regards to age: at the time of application if my age is 33 years 4 months, will I be considered as 33 years old or 34 years.

I appricate your help in this regards.

Many Thanks

- Count those working periods you are claiming points, i think you want to show salary received for the month of Feb 2009 - Jan 2010 which is 12months.. should be good to consider..

Just calculate 12 months i.e. if your are getting paid on 18th of every month then claim period from 20/02/2009 to 19/01/2009

you can claim for the whole period that is 20/02/2009 and 19/02/2010 and you dont have to count it from feb to feb (making it 13 months) coz you are not claiming for the wholefeb both in 09 and 10. see it this way if u want to claim from 01 jan 09 - 31 dec 09 would that be a problem, NO. So it has to be 365 days or under.
