Can I Apply for student extension 6 weeks before my current.

Hello Everyone,
My current leave to remain as a student expires on the 31 OCT 2009. Can i apply for extension in september? Is there any time limit in applying for extension........?
What would be maintainence requirements for me.....? I live out of london but my study place is in london and my course will be 1year masters programme starting in Sep2009.

u can apply only 28 days b4 ur current student visa expires

Hi

If your read Tier Guideline you would find that if you dont change college and apply for extension then you can apply before your visa expire But If you change your college then you should apply 4 months before your visa expiry and if your leave would be left one month then you have to leave and apply from oversea.
