Can a dependent work in UK?

Hi all,

I am working in UK with my work permit.Can my husband apply work in uk with the dep visa in hand?are there any restrictions to work in dep visa?
if so kindly let me knw the diff possibilites...

Yes, people on a dependent's visa can work in the UK, and there's no restriction on the number of hours, types of jobs or number of jobs they hold. Their visa is, however, dependent on yours and the expiry date would be the same as yours. Also, if your visa gets cancelled (for whatever reason, e.g. you return home for good), the dependent's visa is also nullified.
