i apply for psw visa on oct 2008.but my visa finish at 31st march 2009.before iam student.i got my psw visa july 2009. can any one plese explian me betwwen oct2008 to july 2009 iam on wich status plese.is iam on student status or psw status.because i want to apply for hsmp. can any one plese help me thanks

the day your psw visa is issued(written on visa) is whhen u officially become psw holder. ur student visa is no longer valid since that day

however u r a student UNTIL the date of issue of psw

e.g. lets say u applied ,as a student visa holder on 1 june and your psw was issued on 28 june. you are a student until 28 june but become psw migrant from 28 june. hope it helps
