Can I Apply for British citizenship & Home Office Travel Document at the same time?

Post by cloud123 » Fri Nov 01, 2024 4:11 am

Hi Everyone,

I have an expired home office travel document for a refugee. I'm eligible to apply for British citizenship and want to make the application now. Can I apply to renew my travel document once I have submitted my British citizenship application?

Will thay cause any problem? Will that count as 2 applications to the home office at the same time (which I assume not allowed)?

Thank yoi so much for reading.

Two completely different applications.
Can’t see an issue, naturalisation isn’t an immigration application. And you still need a valid TD.

You can apply for two things at the HO at the same time. not an issue at all.
