Can I leave UK while waiting visa decision?

Hi,

I am Dario and I am Russian. I have applied for visa and I am waiting for a decision.

Can I travel back for 5 days to my country of origin?

Note that if an applicant requests his/her passport for travel, then his/her application may be treated as withdrawn.
