Can Master's Degree in Europe help with job and immigration?

Hi,

I'm an Indian national with a 3yrs Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science with around 4.5yrs of international experience in IT Infrastructure related activities.

I've been considering immigrating to Europe for work but have not been able to find possible employment given current job market conditions. I was wondering if I utilize this time to get a Master's degree in Computer Science, would it be helpful in finding a job and further getting a WP?

I did some research on available jobs and it turned out that people with experience in domains like ERP (SAP) get hired easily. I'm in a fix to understand whether Master's would be a good option or a course to advance my skills in either my domain or the one in demand.

Studying for a masters degree can improve your employment prospect. As you are aware, it cannot guarantee you a job in Europe and even in India. We all wish that life was 1+1=2. Sadly, it doesn't work that. Because there are people with only bachelor degrees or no degree, who still get jobs in your field. It all depends. Investing in educating yourself is a good investment. It's difficult to quantify its returns. Goodluck.
