Can I not settle in UK immediately after HSMP approved

my HSMP application was approved. I obtained Entry Clearance valid from 2004.2.1 ~ 2005.2.1. I stayed in UK for only 2 weeks in February 2004 but had not found any job. Therefore I returned to Malaysia and continue working here. I plan to go to UK again in January 2005.
My question is: Is there any requirement of minimal days stayed in UK under HSMP? Can I apply for HSMP extension if I had lived only 1 month in UK when it expire? Can I apply for HSMP extention if I find a job in UK just before the Entry Clearance expire and have worked only several days in UK?

You are required to make the UK your permanent place of residence.
You have already entered, and coming back to Malaysia must be explained to them. I think u should go back as soon as possible.

I have not applied for EC yet. I am currently in Miri and returning to KL next month.
