I've been to several canadian immigration sites and am stil somewhat confused.
My partner is canadian and we'll be getting married next year hopefullly. I live in the uk and hes back in canada now.
can someone please explain what we need to do for me to gain permanent residency there. as in paperwork etc etc
he'll need to sponsor me right?
thing is hes planning on working in the US for a bit, after we get married. will that be a problem? Apparently im supposed to stay in canada for 3 years before i actualy become a resident.
