Can a student change to a tier1 dependant in the UK

I have been in the UK as a Student from 2005 and my husband was my dependant till recently.

My husband got his Tier1 General a in India and is now in the UK.

have a few questions as I wish to make my application soon

1) Can I change from a Student to my husband Tier1 dependant?

2) Can i make my application from the UK?

3) What papers do I need to show? Your quick response will be greatly appreciated.
