Can a student put money is ISA or saving account

Can a tier 4 students who are here with his dependent spouse and 1 child save some money on child dependent name.

Given the fact that child saving account earns good interest?

Is it allowed on tier 4 visa or not?

Visa is valid till 2019 ( Student doing PhD )
