Can I take vacation before I start working in Tier 2 Visa?

Can I take vacation before I start working in Tier 2 Visa?

Hi All,
I got new Tier 2 Visa ( Change of Employment). In my Cos letter it is stated that 19th October is starting Date.
Now my employer is ready to give 2 weeks off from 19th October to 1st November and they are telling I can start my job from 2nd November.
So my question is, is that okay to take off before I officially start working for my employer?
will there be any problem if I do this?
