Can i transfer my B1/B2 visa??

Post by bpandrate » Sat Jan 08, 2011 11:17 pm

Dear all,

I and my wife got B1/B2 visa for 10years in Jan2008 in London, was endorsed in to our Indian passports, while we were on work permit in U.K.

Now we will be applying for our Naturalisation in U.K soon(our status is PR now),and hopefully we will get our British Passports. As India doesn't allow us to have dual citizenships i have to return my Indian passport in order to become U.K citizen. My question is

What will happen to my USA B1/B2 visa which was stamped in my Indian passport? and will i be able to transfer that visa in to my British passport? Is it necessary?

Your advise on this will be appreciated
thanks
