Canadian Express Entry - Queires

Hi Guys,

Recently, me and my wife has given the IELTS exam for Canada Express Entry, below is the score

Mines:-

Listening - 7 / Writing - 6.5 / Speaking: 7/ Reading: 5.5

My wife's

Listening - 7.5 / Writing - 6.5/ Speaking: 6.5 / Reading: 6

Initially, we thought that I become the main applicant and she be my dependent, since my score is having 5.5 in reading then I don't think that I can be the primary applicant. And now after looking at the score, we are thinking that, she become the main applicant and I will be her dependent. Both have master degree and 9+ years of work experience.

And I believe, dependent is also able to work. What will happen if I get a job before her, will I be able to travel alone and do the work and she can join later. Or is it mandatory that she has to travel first and then the dependents.

Great if you guys advise on this.
