FSW NOC 2281 query

Hi all,

I'm planning to apply for few 2014 with noc 2281 as category however have couple of questions:
1) I have just started to collect documents and stuff, will it be too late if I apply by July/August 2014? And
2) I work as Service Desk agent in Service Desk/help desk/1st line support area which does almost all the main duties of 2281 but the job title doesn't match. Am I still eligible?

Please help.
