Parent was a Canadian Native

I was born in the US, but my parent and grandparents were born in Canada. My parent immigrated to the US before I was born, but didn't revoke Canadian citizenship (had dual US/Canadian citizenship). Does this provide me with any advantages in immigrating to Canada? P.S. My parent is now deceased.

What is your date of birth? This has a bearing on the answer.
