Canada immigration advise pls

Post by central_uk » Tue May 08, 2007 9:27 pm

Dear friend
Please go through key dates first and then looking your advise to move further with following questions:

First I would like to say that I am Indian citizen. I was in France from Sept 2003 to Nov 2006 on student Visa and then came to UK in Dec 2006 on Working Holiday Visa.

-Submitted application for canada immigration : March 2004 from Paris
-Came to UK in Dec 2006
-Married in Jan 2007 in India with Indian citizen girl
-Canadian immigration service asked to complete forms and update documents in April 2007

My problem is I dont have anymore visa of France so if I will get interview there then is it ok if I go there on visitor visa? Even my wife dont have france or UK visa yet.

Still I need to submit all documents of my marriage and of my wife's documents ( education, fees, PCC etc...)

Is it good idea to change my application in India or UK? Does it cost in terms of processing time or money? Anycase if I change then what is your suggestion, When I should change it? After submitting documents or before that?

Please advise asap.

Thanks and kind regards

Hi,

Your best bet is to keep the file in france. If you move to uk or india, it will start from all over again. Make sure you have visitor visa to go to france, if u get interview u will have to go there. You can ask for the exemption of your wife to attend the interview.

Did you update the CHC, PAris of you arrival in UK and your status in UK? Did you get your Initial Assessment yet?

Ali
