CAS and Accomodation

Post by khurramrafiq » Mon Oct 18, 2010 1:42 pm

Hi

My brother applied for uni and he got offered a place and then he payed for pre-reg fee, now so far he has CAS letter. So he is preparing for his visa application.
Now for accommodation, how can he provide details of accomodation?

1. Can he tell that I am his brother and he will be living with me during his stay?
2. Is there any problem with this from ECO point of view even though he has enough money needed for his to live in UK on his own or in proviate accomodation?

Also if there is another way to show accomodation proof? private ? etc..

many thanks for your help as always.

There is no requirement for Tier 4 applicants to provide evidence of accommodation in the UK.

Reading the policy guidance will help understand the documentary evidence(s) required for a Tier 4 EC application.

Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated.

But if he been asked where you would stay in UK, without any proof of residence etc.. will he be saying that he will go there and look for the properites in that area? and in the mean time stay in hotel? etc.. something like that?

Thanks

The application form has no such question(s), nor is this a requirement (as mentioned above).

As suggested, read the policy guidance, carefully.
