Category B; Letter of employment

Hi

I'm applying under Category B and I'm required to meet £22400. I'm in non-salaried employment and my letter of employment to support spouse and child settlement visa applications states, among other things that: my basic salary is £1350 every four weeks and my total annual gross income including nights and working weekend premiums is approximately £23600.
And on the other hand, as I've calculate my payslips over the last 12 months prior to the date of application they amount to £24950 gross.
Now would the ECO overlook my basic salary in this case or they'd go for the gross of £23600 also include contracted premiums?

Now,take the letter back to your employer to add your total income in the last 12 months. If what your employer has stated isn't up to what the income should be,I'm afraid they can refuse the application.
If they insist on doing it their way,tell them they will pay if the application is refused.
I just came back from the office because of something like this and they had no choice than to correct it. The people you're dealing with are too rigid for them to overlook, especially that financial requirement, they just follow the stuff to the letter.

But the gross over the last 12 months is showing on my payslips; and I didn't know that it was my employer's duty to add that to the letter as well. I was of the impression that the letter needs to show what I currently earn per year and in my case that's £23600 including premiums.

Under cat B,2 conditions need to be met.
You must have received the amount you're relying on in the last 12 months.
Secondly, you annual income (what you were told you'll earn at the beginning must meet the requirement)
If you're confident it's OK like that,no problem,but they won't do the calculation for you but rely on what is stated on the letter.

If they won't be doing the calculations for anyone, then please explain why you think they insist that applicants must submit 12 months payslips and their corresponding bank statements.
Perhaps there's something you know which we don't.

I meant if there's difference btw what you state as your income to what your employer has stated.
I don't really know if you're asking or being funny with your last statement.

All I'm doing is to make sure you get it right 100%,I've got nothing which others don't know tbh.

But I think you'll be fine whichever way they look at it because you'll still meet the requirement or may be I didn't get the question right?

Now, to your knowledge would a spouse visa be refused for failing to submit a p60 with the application to meet the financial requirements? I came across my refusal stories about refusals soley on the basis of not submitting a p60 with the application.
