Hello,
I just have a quick question. Does my eligibility to apply for Category A of the Spouse visa be void If the earnings I make every month is different?
To add context: I work for NHS on a fulltime contract (37.5 hours) with an annual salary of £22,383. However I sometimes work weekends and sometimes night shifts where they pay you an extra incentive for doing "unsocial/graveyard shifts".
So at the end of every month my payslip is always different. Will that matter if Im applying for Cat A?
Thank you!!
No, it does not void it. Minimum monthly of £1550 is what you need. The application gives you room to indicate not thesame amount is earned each month but your remuneration is above the threshold.
Okay cause the reason I ask is because someone posted in an fb immigration page (sorry idk how to post screenshot here) about how they applied for Cat A and they were given options
1) same amount each month above the threshold
2) same amount but below the threshold
3) different amount above threshold
4) different amount below threshold
And he was promoted in the last 12 months prior to the application.
They chose option 3 and apparently they were denied Cat A and they were told they need to be Cat B. So thats why Im worried if Im jeopardizing my application for the Cat A spouse visa by doing unsocial/night shifts to get extra money.
Because I cant wait for 12months you see thats why Cat B is out of the question.
