CCJ against company

Post by yash121 » Wed Feb 04, 2026 12:47 pm

Hello everyone
I am planning to apply for UK citizenship in April and would like the information on below points

1) I recently found out that there is a CCJ against my limited company which is expiring this month so do I need to mention it in my application or not?

2) I am also planning to raise the request with the court to set aside it because I was never served any notices etc but the company which got it against my company is closed now so should I do it or let the CCJ expire in next 10 days

3) If I close down the current company before my application then do I still need to mention the CCJ or not?

I never had any problems with my credit history or score and my personal credit history is very clean.

Kind Regards

I would really appreciate if anyone from the senior team can share their views on my post.

Also, I got Tier 1 ext and ILR without knowing about this CCJ and so I didn't mention it in my earlier applications.

Hello Seniors
Please can someone share their opinion on my post. This forum has helped me to get my Tier 1, Tier 1 ext and ILR and now I am on the last step of my journey.

I have done some research on google and some solicitor's has mentioned that there is no need to mention the expired CCJ and some have said otherwise. It is very confusing for me.
