Certificate of Sponsorship

Post by matt679 » Thu Oct 01, 2009 6:01 am

Hi!
Need help regarding this scenario.

I got my work permit in 2006 and has been living in the UK for the past 3 years. I have limited leave to remain in UK until 2011. Now I want to apply for dependent visa for my family to come in to UK. In the VAF10 application it asks for a certificate of sponsorship number. I cannot recall anything like that when I first got the work permit in 2006. Can anyone help what's to be stated here?

Cheers!
Matt.

State that it is a work permit in any box that seems relevant. You do not have a CoS number because CoS only came in as of November 2008. You have a work permit so you need to say so, in whatever box will allow it.
