Certified copy of passport

Post by thet » Mon Oct 22, 2007 11:47 am

Hi all,

My wife and I are applying for a visa for her to come from Brazil to live with me in the UK.
As part of the application procedure I need to supply a 'certified copy of' my passport (I'm a UK citizen).

My question is, what constitutes a 'certified copy' and how do I go about obtaining one? Notary public? Embassy?

Please help!

Regards
-t

A solicitor will certainly do it, at a charge. Some charge much more than others, and some will charge less if you provide the photocopies (if you have to supply a copy of each page, even the blank ones - do you?).
