Post by raamch » Mon Sep 08, 2008 9:22 am

Hi:

I had submitted all relavent original documents, proofs for maintanance funds, english lang, etc. Through my consultant i came to know that background screening of my application is over and in this wk hopefully they will take desission!

My Question is, if every criteria is met, then what is the chances of getting visa? Like 100% or is there any chance to reject?

plz help me by providing ur exp, views, info on this....

The whole idea of the points based assessment system is that it is objective. In other words, if you satisfy all the criteria and earn the required number of points, you can expect to receieve the visa.

In my view, the only part of the assessment process that is subject to a caseworker's subjective assessment is when they consider whether you are a fit and proper person to be granted entry to the UK. Even then, their discretion is strictly limited; unless you are a dangerous criminal, you can expect to be approved.
