Change of address

Hi,

I have a brp visa, and I am living inside the UK. I have changed my address around a month ago. I did use the following like to notify the home office of my address change:

But looking at this site now (https://www.gov.uk/change-circumstances ... have-a-brp), it does have a link for a form that I need to send by post whenever I change my address!

Did I do the right thing? Or should I use the form and submit it by post? Any way to confirm that the home office updated my address? Thank you.
