Change of circumstances form - necessary?

Hi guys,

I applied for Tier 1 General in Mar 2010 and got it in Feb 2011 (after nearly 1 year since it was unfairly refused and I had to take legal help to get it issued).

Meanwhile, I got married in Dec 2010 while I waited for UKBA to decide upon my visa.

I came to the UK in May 2011 but my wife is still in India since I didnt apply for her dependent visa yet.

Now should I first inform UKBA that my marital status has changed, by submitting a change of circumstances form, or can I straightaway ask my wife to submit her dependent visa application with required documents?

Also, the market being tight, I am on the lookout for a job for the last 2+ months, but have sufficient money to maintain myself and my wife when she comes here. Would they reject my wife's dependent visa application just for the reason I am not yet employed in the UK?

No, your employment status should not have any effect on your dependent's application.
