Change in cirsumstances - Resigned before appointment date

Post by anandpathak » Sun Nov 06, 2011 12:43 am

Hi Gurus,
I have my tier 1 general extension due next fortnite.
My Visa is valid till June 2012 but I am going for an early application throught Premium appointment ( PEO Croydon) only for me and will be applying for my Dependent Visa ( Wife+1 kid+ one expected baby) in March 2012 by Post.
I would need few inputs from experience folks on the below subject as the guidence document does not Negate my assertion.
1. Will applying only for My extension weaken my case ? My dependent visa is valid till June 2012 and I intend to get there Visa application only in March 2012 . This is primarily due to my frequest travel plan and paucity of money for Premium visa processing fees.
2. I booked my PEO appointment last month . I am employed in an UK arm of Indian IT firm and would be showing income only from this firm . I have got sufficient funds and supported by Salary slips ( attested and stamped by Payroll) and Salary certificate from HR . Now the problem is on the day of Visa appointment , I WILL NOT be on role of this company ,as I have resigned and last day will be next week. I will be joining my next UK renowned organization only after 2 months. I am worried about what will be my Employement status to be written in application. I am worried if I dont divulge my unemployement status in the application form and the ECO checks by calling (on phone) my current organization , this will be a cause of trouble. If I divulge my Unemployement status will this be again weeken my case?

Looking forward tp your inputs .
Cheers
anand

1. i dont know (I am sure other forumites who know better will respond)
2. the rules of the game are as follows: you earn points from age, qualifications, salary, uk experience plus maintenance and english language capability. you need to have earned the required salary to score the required points. you do not need to be in continuous employment to score points. as long as your declared earnings are in the last 15 months of the chosen 12 month cycle.
