Change in company name after takeover.....!!!!!!!!1

Friends,

I was supposed to apply next month, but now my company has been take over and has been renamed to a different name.
Example - Lets say if i was working in a company A till last month, and now its been renamed to company B.

What documents should i need to get to show to the home office that company A and B are both same, and its just a takeover which resulted in the change of the name of the company....

Pls advice guys...

it may not be complete solution but few things u can do are:

1. mention the same in the cover letter expalin in detail
2. provide the links of the websites where it mentions the same or
3. News release the company puts in the web
4. make print outs of the above 2 and submit with the applicatoin
5. If possible if any of your company managers can give u a company lettter will be the best of the lot.. as it covers the earnings also..

If i can get a letter from the HR on the letterhead of the company that after the take over, the company name has been changed. Would it work.

I will also attach the news articles from the web explaining the take over.

Do you think the above solutions would work...

YES, it is not abig issue if u can get the details.. they shd be more than sufficient.. becos at the end of the dayHO will contact the same HR n managers if they want to do the verification and if u clarify it before in cover letter with HR n news releases u will be ready to go...
