Changing from Student to HSMP and notarised copy of passport

Post by kundan » Mon May 21, 2007 3:41 pm

Hi,

I’m thinking of applying for HSMP, but I would like to get some clarification on my eligibility. I would be very grateful if you could answer my following queries.

1- I am in the UK on student visa and have not finished my degree (PhD) yet. I want to apply for HSMP on the basis of my previous qualification (masters) and the earnings prior coming here. Am I eligible for HSMP before completing my studies here?

I’m only claiming the following points: Education: 35 (masters) and Previous earning: 45 points and I’ve all the required evidence for those points.

2- However, I’m not sure that Do I still have to attach the notarised copy of my passport?
I have obtained the letter from my UK University stating that ‘I’m a currently fulltime student’ and also I have recently got a letter from Home office when I extended my student visa.

Thank you very much.
