Changing SOC code when renewing my skilled worker visa

I am on a skilled worker visa due to expire Aug 2025. I am on SOC 2010 code 2431 Architects. I will be renewing it with a new SOC 2020 code 3120 Architectural Technician in Aug 2025. Code 3120 is not equivalent to the SOC 2010 code 2431 and should be considered a change in job. I will be with the same employer. will this be ok? Can i extend directly with a new SOC code? Do i need to update it first? Thank you!
