Child born in UK - visa expires soon

Post by rpervez » Wed Feb 15, 2023 8:56 pm

Hi all,
I have been granted ILR today. My daughter was born in UK but has dependant visa for travel purposes. Her visa will expire soon but I wanted to delay her naturalisation application due to the cost involved. Will she be an overstayer or will this affect any entitlement like NHS treatment?

A UK born child won't be an overstayer as such, however without valid proof of status non-emergency NHS treatment would normally be chargeable at cost plus a percentage uplift.
