Child registration or passport application

Post by london_2014 » Wed Dec 17, 2014 12:18 pm

Hi all,

I have a query re. my child's immigration status as in do I have to apply for child registration using MN1 for or apply for her passport online or through post office check and send straight away given the following:

I was granted ILR September 2013 (but not naturalised yet). Child born in UK December 2014. Her mother has just received her ILR.

Can someone advise?

I am not naturalised yet but I hold ILR. When I am applying for my child passport (on the basis that she was born after my ILR) Where in the application form do I put my BRP number (which has ILR)? The form only looks at naturalisation or registration number? :(

Can some one help?

Write short covering letter explaining situation, don't use check and send as post office workers could be confused and some of them don't know how it works. At least I had this problem at my local post office.
