Child tax credit for Discretionary leave to remain

Post by Crazyhorse68 » Sat Dec 07, 2013 1:10 pm

Hi There
I was given 3 years Discretionary leave to remain based on family life in UK.
I have a British partner and six year old dauhgter ( British)
My solicitor logged in my extension application last week.(FLRO). I'm a Turkish and allows to me get child tax credit . My solicitor didn't know about this.Child tax credit made by joint applicants and my partner is main applicant
My concern is claiming child tax credit would it effect decision of application?
Anyone with information pls
Best regards

No as the old DLR which you are on allows the applicant to claim public funds.
