Citizenship Application and Receiving Benefits

Post by Mark08 » Mon May 12, 2008 11:31 am

Hi,

I would appreciate it if someone could help me with this question.

I have an ILR in the UK through my marriage and I'll apply for the UK citizenship in December 2008. I've never received any public benefits, however I may have to apply for the job seekers allowance until I find another job.

Would this be a problem during my citizenship application? Also do I have to send my payslips etc. along with the other documents?

Many thanks in advance
