Citizenship application. Proof of identity.

Post by Thorngilden » Wed Feb 05, 2025 3:45 am

Hi, I am starting my citizen application form. In order to prove my identity I have to submit a certified copy of my current passport. My problem is that my passport was retained by immigration gardai at Dublin airport on my arrival when I applied for asylum. I understand that having been granted asylum i am under the protection of the Irish government and as such cannot get my passport back. So how do I get certified copies of my passport for the application?
