Citizenship application question

Post by SaxonB » Sat Sep 21, 2019 10:23 am

Hi all,

I'm in the middle of our online citizenship application.
I thought that would be the best if my wife and me submit our application first and once we got the citizenship (if it is refused then we would loose less money) we do it again for my daughters (12 / 14 years old). We all got our permanent residence card in last August (2018) and we are EEA nationals.
Is it a good idea?

Other question:
My wife worked at a council for 4 years but before that she had no job for a couple of months and then she did not work for a couple of months as well. She has been starting to work again in this August.
We can cover a couple of working years with her employer's letters but not all the 5+1 years. What other paper could we use in this case? Would be all right our TAX credits letters?
I would really appreciate if anyone could share with us your experience about it.

Cheers,
SaxonB

Anything official will be accepted - Council Tax bills are used most often, tax credit should be ok also (DWP issued), HMRC correspondence, etc. As long as the name is shown on those documents.
