Citizenship application with hand written passport

Hi everyone,
I am going to apply for British citizenship. My passport is not machine readable and I do not have biometric card/residence permit either. I was granted ILR in 2011 and they put ILR stamp on my passport.
If I want to apply for citizenship with current passport, will I have to do it before 24th this month as that is the deadline for hand written passports or I can still apply after 24th with my current hand written passport?

Can you provide the link for where you got this information from?

Hand written passports will not be acceptable for traveling but for CS application they don't mind an expired passports. Important to provide the passports what you have your UK visas or ILR inside. Use NCS service to have copy of your passport for the application and go to your consulate to renew your passport.
