maternity allowance eligibility for Tier 2 General Dependent

Can Tier 2 General Dependent claim Maternity Allowance? If Yes, Does this impact ILR of main or Dependent?

Assuming she has worked the required weeks, yes.

I understand Maternity allowance does not count as Public funds and should not affect when applying for ILR?

What if partner on Tier 2 General goes to home country and child is born outside UK? Can we still claim Maternity allowance once back to the UK?
