30 hours Childcare for non-EEA national

Post by Gnanasekar » Tue Apr 11, 2017 9:10 pm

Hi,

In relation to information here https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... bility.pdf

could I ask if a person with PR (ILR) has recourse to public fund?

I'm British citizen and wife is in ILR and wondering if we will be eligible for the 30 hour childcare.

Thanks in advance for your valuable inputs.

A person with ILR or BC is free to claim benefits.

Will it apply if I am on ILS and wife is still T1-dependent?
Since I am on ILR, am I eligible for 30 hours?

Apologies, UK specific website guidance is not too clear for specific cases; and thus question to experts here.

Hi,

If one parent is on ILR and other parent is still on Tier2 Visa (Applying for ILR in 3years). Does the claiming the public funds by ILR parent will effect eligibility for ILR of Tier2 parent?

Thanks a lot
